MartÃn Páez (alias Locke Strife), nace el 28 de octubre del año 1985 en Barcelona, no empieza a interesarse demasiado por la musica hasta los 15 años y a los 16 descubre el Heavy Metal de la mano de Avalanch. Desde entonces empieza a indagar más en el mundillo del metal con grupos como Hammerfall, Iron Maiden, Rhapsody etc... Cuando un dia dado escucha el tema de Helloween 'I Want out' y decide confirmarse como heavy y dedicar gran parte de su vida a esa musica con la que se sentia identificado.Un tiempo más tarde, sin más se puso a cantar la musica que escuchaba, un dia decidio probar suerte con algun grupo, probo con uno pero no tuvo suerte, no por eso se rindio y siguio practicando, asi que un dia decidio poner un anuncio en internet ofreciendose como cantante. Al cabo de un tiempo entro a formar parte de la que seria su primera banda, "The Missin Rib", una banda de heavy clasico que cantaba en ingles, con la que estubo un año y medio y dio varios bolos, pasado ese tiempo, el resto de la banda decide echarle por no estar al supuesto "nivel" del resto de la banda.Sin perder demasiado tiempo se puso a buscar una nueva banda enseguida, tras probar en varios sitios, llego a parar a la que ahora es su banda, Ixiom, un grupo de heavy/power metal en castellano, que justo lo que el andava buscando y con la que ya ha dado varios conciertos.MartÃn a compartido escenario con bandas como Baron Rojo, Renno, Prisma, Hapax, Insight etc... y ha hecho alguna que otra colaboracion en directo con bandas como Criterivm o Frozen Wings.Actualmente compagina sus estudios de Ingenieria Informatica y el TaeKwonDo con su "carrera" musical con Ixiom, con quien grabara en breve las voces de la primera maketa/disco. Tambien tiene en proyecto paralelo una banda de tributo a Helloween, la cual espera ver a luz proximamente.ENGLISHMartin Páez (aka Locke Strife), was born on October 28, 1985 in Barcelona, does not start being interested too much for the music up to 15 years and to the 16 he discovers the Heavy metal for Avalanch. When someday listens the Helloween's clasic song 'I Want out ' and decides to be confirmed as heavy metal and to dedicate great part of his life to this music which he feel identified.A time later, ado there put to sing the music to that he was listening, one day he tryed to sing with some band , honestly with one but was not lucky, but he was continue practice, and one day, decides to put an advertisement in Internet offering as singer. After a time he begin to form a part of serious that his first band, " The Missin Rib ", a band of classic heavy metal that he was singing in English, he was in the band for one year and a half and he play in some shows, past this time, the rest of the band decides to baned him for not being to the supposed "level" of the rest of the band.Without losing too much time he, put to look for a new band immediately, after trying in several places, I manage to stop the one that now is his band, Ixiom, a group of heavy/power metal in Castilian(Spanish), that just what looking for he was searching and with the one that already has given several concerts.Martin to shared stage with bands as Baron Rojo, Renno, Prisma, Hapax, Insight etc ... and someone has done that another live collaboration with bands like Criterivm or Frozen Wings.Nowadays he reconciles his studies of Computer Engineering and the TaeKwonDo with his musical "career" with Ixiom, with the one who was recording shortly the voices of the first maketa/disco. Also it he has in parallel project a band tribute to Helloween, which waits to see to light soon.
