I'm an amateur writer and musician and professional Filthy Assistant living in Edgewood, MD along with a wife, a dog, a cat, a pile of stringed instruments, and an inconvenient number of books.
I'm fond of good food, good drink, and a reasonably decent cigar. I have many of the tastes in entertainment that you'd expect in a black-clad, ponytailed chubby nerd; if you feel that there's anything to be ashamed of in Chubby Nerdhood and its consolations, we are probably not going to get along.
I also play (for a given value of "play") guitar, mandolin, recorder, pennywhistle, strumstick, fiddle, and bass. Some of my musical efforts, as one-quarter of the core lineup for the prog-folk ensemble OVO, can be found here.
