Salt of the Earth Collective (SOTE) is a group of people committed to the distribution of healthy, affordable, delicious food with minimal waste. We are dedicated to the Philadelphia community and local farms and organizations. We act as an educational resource, leading by example, and we hope to build a mutual learning environment by showcasing local talent. SOTE is a non-hierarchical, worker-run collective working towards ecological and economical sustainability. We strive to make a social impact by creating a space that is open and safe for all people regardless of race, class, culture, gender, and sexuality. For the people, from the people.
