I'm tiM from Belgium. Me in a nutshell:
music, music, music (all kinds - I am a musical cameleon and loving it), I like to hang out with my brothers and friends, play indoor soccer (Los! Hermanos! kampioen!), like watching soccer and Formula 1, spent a year in Maryland, speak Dutch, speak quite fluent American English with really not much of an accent (and am very proud of it, since I love the language), don't say much in general unless you talk to me (and then I'm happy to answer), love anything Finnish, enjoy having a drink once in a while, studied Latin, Greek, and modern languages in high school, am much interested in foreign languages (what they look like, what they sound like), am much interested in the ethnicity of people and their culture, make amateur websites and posters/flyers/anything, have a modest and moderate character, enjoy doing my own thing, like stand-up comedy, enjoy being a fan (all kinds of bands and singers, Belgian soccer team RSC Anderlecht, American soccer team DC United, F1 driver Kimi Räikkönen, sexiest female radio voice ever Heidi Lenaerts) because I like the necessary talent for pretty much anything :-), enjoy going out for a beer and partying (although I hardly ever get on the dance floor), enjoy going to concerts and festivals, support local bands, work as a volunteer at Het Depot (a concert hall in my hometown), am very proud of being from Leuven, don't have a higher degree because I lacked the motivation to actually try to get one (although I have tried quite enough and I regret not having at least one), recently worked at a recreational park near home, can be totally overwhelmed by beauty in all forms (especially female), have a thing for intelligent, sharp, witty, sarcastic humor, but also for obnoxious interpretations,...
I have a calm, good, soft character. I tend to be gentle and silent, but - so people told me - sometimes look tense. Could be true. I worry a lot and think a lot, but don't panic fast. I think before I say something. I'm trustworthy. If I like you I'll do a lot for you. Don't touch the ones I consider "my people", or I'll try to kick your ass until either one of us is taken down. Contrary to that I'm a bit selfish in other, normal situations - I'll always consider my own benefit and the amount of effort I have to put in something. But don't worry, it sounds worse than it is :-) People consider me a rather intelligent and really nice guy, but point out that my level of self-confidence may need to be elevated. And yes, I'm working on the latter.
I hate liars, posers, arrogant and obnoxious people, career hunters who are only friendly to superiors, two-faces, bullys, dickheads, people who are too dumb to do the job they were picked out for, power abusers, people who just can't seem to stop talking, blabbering, nagging, people who constantly have the urge to draw attention to themselves, spam, viruses...
