Dear Friends,
I have been truly honored to serve the great City of Philadelphia since January 2000 as Councilwoman At-Large and Chair of the City Council Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
In November 2007, I was humbled to get the support of Philadelphia voters for my 3rd term and for that I am so grateful. I love Philadelphia and will continue to ensure that we are always striving for excellence!
Over the next 4 years I will continue to be an advocate for the issues which are dearest to me: Women, Children, Arts/Culture and Education. However, in my new term I intend to be a strong leader on the Environment and Energy Conservation sending a clear signal that Philadelphia is serious about protecting the planet for us and for our children.
