Breathtaking..... Wow. This tune has me hooked. As a producer myself, the first thing I hear in a song is its sound. This entire track sounds...amazing. So much space, so much atmosphere, so much to listen to and pick up on, so many unusual sounds all blending together and working with each other. It's an absolute joy to listen to. The arrangement is meticulous, everything has its place. Emphasis on different instruments or timbres is shifted through subtle changes in the instrumentation. The rhythmic drive is always there, but there is an ebb and flow that is mastered perfectly. Wasn't sure if I could hear some electronic sounds in there, but they work well, adding to the texture. Was also surprised by the appearance of the didgeridoo towards the end, it was unexpected in what was a more Indian sound, but I have to say it worked. Will be listening to this track again and again, and checking out any more material you may have. Awesome. What I like about this composition is it's inspiring complexity. On top of the stable oriental rhythm all sorts of musical events are happening. The instruments and voices enter (softly, as if on tiptoes), cross each other or go along for a moment and exit. The light and airy space is alive with shadows and echo's. As a listener you are travelling through an eventful musical landscape you are widely awake and you don't want to miss anything. Reviewed by: TatianaLina from Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

Melissa Shawn Griffin (MSG) is a solo artist, multi-instrumentalist.... a non-structured song writer and composer with an early lived classical music background. Childhood fascinations with the piano and hand percussion led to Melissa's main love of guitar. She brings forth a unique ethno-bluesy sound that is refined, but also relaxed and openly structured. Her works incorporate dance influenced genres with a myriad of world music textures that wander around electro-synths, built up break-beats and ethnic percussion. The listener may be surprised to hear such a wide range of musical styles from one artist. Though the genres are so varied, the sound of her complete albums pull together seamlessly. Layered guitars backed with plenty of atmospheric reverb and airy vocals gently lead the listener into a world full of many childhood musical influences from New Order and The Cure, and onward to the magical Mazzy Star...Kaki King's intricacies and Dead can Dance and Anoushka Shankar's Eastern and Middle Eastern influences. Melissa Shawn Griffin plays guitars, bass, synths, piano, dabbles in percussion and the mother of all mystical stringed instuments.....the sitar.
