For those who do not know, Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, with its nearest countries being Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt and Greece. It has an extremely long and complex history and can be seen from many many different points of view. Here we dont want to argue, or to put any opinion down because all that can be supported with evidence are accepted. A more detailed version of the more recent history can be found (eventually) in another section of this profile.
The current political situation of Cyprus is extremely complicated, with many issues raising important questions about law, morality and ethics, and social behaviour.
