Marien was born in Athens, Greece. She started classical piano lessons at a very early age, but soon she showed up her singing talent. She has a diploma in music theory and attempts vocal lessons with Areti Topouzides. Marien has appeared in many live performances as the lead singer of DOWN TOWN BEAT(2002-2004), 48HOURS(2004-2005), BLUESBUG(2006- till today), DOMENICA(2007-till today).
