BIOGRAPHY
Urban Reverb are a 4 piece indie/ acoustic band based in Essex. First formed as a three-piece in March 2008, and armed with a host of songs; Johnny Wilson, Steve Nussbaum and Richie Strockl decided to take their unique sound to the masses! After a couple of months gigging, Urban Reverb then discovered the final piece of the U.R. puzzle - lead guitarist Matt Everingham. Matt was found by the band at the Seaxe in the back streets of Brentwood where his original style could not be ignored. As a result, Urban Reverb have enhanced their sound even further with Matt adding some top riffs and solos delivered in his unforgettable and unique style. Urban Reverb have been going from strength to strength building up a solid reputation for their enjoyable live shows and catchy songs.
To date Urban Reverb have played a host of top venues including The Hope & Anchor, The Old Queens Head, The Spice of Life, The Miller, Monkey Chews, The Dry Bar, The Railway Tavern, Queen Boadicea, The Embassy, Seaxe @ The Essex Arms, The Fiddlers Elbow, and others. U.R. have also played a host of summer ’08 festivals such as Liberty Live, the Dagenham Festival, and the Sounds of Summer Festival.
The band have recorded their first EP which has new track 'Miss You' on it, as well as the old classics 'Simple Place' and 'Gonna Get Worse'!
So if you like good songs and singalong choruses, come check out U.R. and let us know what you think. Thanks for stopping by. All feedback is welcomed. Let's get Urbanised!

!!ILFORD RECORDER!!

"Urban Reverb opened the festival on Sunday, creating a chilled out vibe for equally keen onlookers."

Commenting on the experience, Urban Reverb told us: "We’ve had an amazing time! So many opportunities have come out of winning BOTB and opening the festival was awesome – it was great to be able to play our music to so many new people."

!!BARKING AND DAGENHAM RECORDER!!

Urban Reverb have been playing on the local music scene for the last two months, however, members Johnny Wilson, Steve Nussbaum, Richie Strockl met and formed the band seven years ago before Johnny moved to Bournemouth.

Recently, the band was reunited and when they played their first gig at an open mic session, they met their newest band member Matt Everingham.

Johnny Wilson, lead vocalist with the band, said: "We're so surprised that we won. On the day it went well for us but the other bands we saw were all so good. We've never had the chance to play in front of so many people before, so we're really looking forward to it."

!!ROMFORD RECORDER!!

Artists include this year's winners of The Liberty's Battle of the Bands talent contest, Lost & Found, and Urban Reverb who will play the main stage on Saturday and Sunday consecutively, launching each day's jammed packed line up.
