honestly, i really dont need to meet anyone new. especially people who have nothing better to do than sit around all day bored on their computers. i dont want to 'chat' with you just because you are bored and have no life. try reading a book or expanding your mind, or maybe actually go outside and see what the world looks like. if you spend that much time bored indoors that you randomly start conversations with people you dont know, you need to get a life.that said, im an opportunist. interesting, artful people are always welcome to drop a line if there is something worth actually talking about... i require a bit of depth to conversation, if you bore me i WILL tell you, dont take it personally, i just dont have time for pointless conversation with losers that cant communicate beyond the most basic of levels...oh, and drama queens and highschool mentalities need not apply, you will only get a rude response from me. i am so bleeding sick of the island pasttime of gossip and rumors and getting all worked up over other peoples business. live and let live already...

life is nothing without music. i have a pretty broad tastes... from beastie boys to zappa to the crystal method to darkbuster to eek-a-mouse, monty python, drowning pool, the presidents of the united states, pantera, slayer, old fear factory, BLOOD FOR BLOOD, MINISTRY, Leftover Crack, squirrel nut zippers, Cherry-Poppin Daddies, Buckethead, guignol, flogging molly, stray cats, CCR, the cramps, dropkick murphys, NIN, blues brothers, system of a down, tool, NIRVANA, zombie, some tom lehrer, the rev, swing and blues, rockabilly/psychobilly, the weird, the obscure, the twisted, mr.bungle, the freeze, hot funk, cool punk, even if its old junk, its still rock n roll to me, grunge, punk, hardcore, metal, some hippy music, very little techno, mostly stoner music...i could waste all day typing in names of musicians, but really, do you even want to read all that? KEEP IT METAL AND KEEP IT REAL

Movies:

almost anything deep and thoughtful, RAVENOUS, LORD OF ILLUSIONS, house of 1,000 corpses, devil's rejects, mob/heist films, who-done-its, british comedy, stoner humor, jack black movies, the usual suspects, scarface, taxi driver, the prophecy, "Resterns", most violent movies, comicbook movies, esp dick tracy and the animated directors cut of spawn cuz it was done by the orig guy...way better than the one w/ actors, STAR WARS MUTHA FUCKERS! Dr.Who, Zombie movies, any of my cartoon dvds, LOTR, Musicals, 80's movies, almost anything with kevin spacey, tim curry, bruce willis, or a young mel gibson, the godfather trilogy, good morning vietnam, clockwork orange, *M*A*S*H*, full metal jacket, boondock saints, super troopers,office space, dirty work, the adventures of baron munchausen, nightmare b4 xmas, almost anything by quintin tarintino, porn... i'll sit and watch almost anything once. almost.

Television:

bullocks to tv, except for adult swim and the 'educational' channels. and Sci-Fi. i f'n love battlestar gallactica nights. if it wasnt for the internet i wouldnt know why we even pay a cable bill, cuz i buy what i want to watch on dvd... no commertials and you can hit the pause button...

Books:

too many to list here... alot of stuff. art books, photography books, graphic novels, porn, anything i can research thats even mildly entertaining, fantasy, sci-fi, who-dun-its, and more non-fiction than i'd care to admit. reading is good. go read a book. or a series. i suggest lots of stuff... most of Piers Anthony's work, but especailly The Incarnations of Immortality series, The Riverworld series by Phillip Jose Farmer, The Belgariad and The Mallorean by David Eddings. i just finished The Dark Tower series (Stephen King)and i must say it was well ended. i wont give it away for those of you still stuck somewhere in the middle of it... im just finished the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, atleast as far as its been released.. i cant wait for the next one to come out. Book 1 is called Wizard's First Rule, and if you like a nice, long epic fantasy this is an amazing set of works... i actually just finished the latest release of the series. it was most amusing, and i cant wait till he releases the last one.. i hate waiting for authors to get around to finishing a series.. its most annoying. that aside, you should read it. its good stuff. real good stuff.

Heroes:

first off, teachers. i have alot of respect for those working to make others think. there are many in my life who have struggled to teach me many important things, despite my personal insistance on "touching the stove twice, just to be sure". you all know who you are. anyone who has lived hard, played hard, and lived up to the consequences of their actions. people who can pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. people who stand up for what they believe in despite what the masses tell them is correct or proper. otherwise, i have alot of heros, for many different reasons. i try to learn something from everyone, to close your mind to things deemed undesirable is to lie to yourself about the reality of the human condition...
