Axis of Evil/ working on new songs!!

About Me

The band was formed at the end of summer 2006 by our drummer Ferdinand Kofler, the guitarist Fabian Baumgartner and our bassist Mike Burger with the intention to make some fucking metal. After a short time of covering songs in Ferdis cellar we looked for a vocalist and a keyboarder but instead we met our second guitar-shredder Martin Knollseisen who instantly joined the band. We began to write some stuff and we kept on looking for a vocalist -that we finally found in spring 2007 in Julian Gatterer and after a despaired search for a bandname the band axis of evil was founded. We play a kind of deathcore/Hardcore or however you want to call it!
Our first demo-cd was recorded in February 2008 in the recording studio of the Jz UFO. In may 2008 we took part as the youngest Band at the legendary Band competition .. " METALCHAMP .. " and we won the third place, one point behind the second. After many gigs Martin Knollseisen left the Band and instead of him, Lukas PÃ¶rnbacher took the place on the guitar.
Our first cd was recorded and mixed from November to January 08/09 @ the sound control studio of Lukas Flarer. The 4th track on the cd was recorded with Graveworm Grinder Stefano Fiori. Our Guitarist, Fabian Baumgartner, left the band in may 2009 and instead of him Matthias "Motthe" Erlacher took the place on the guitar. In June 2009 left Matthias Erlacher the band and Fabian Baumgartner came back. We have shared the stage with Graveworm, Gorefest, In Slumber, One man Army, Before the Fall, Hate squad, Excrementory Grindfuckers, Inzest and many others...

We have a new myspace layout made by ARCHETYPE DESIGN.You can find a album teaser on the space of the new cd Fallen Into Oblivion. The new shirts and the new cds are available on the 7th march.

The new cd is almoust finish

Yooooouuuu the recordings of the new cd are finished and we are working on the cover artworks [archetypedesign] and on the merch. The release party is probably on February!!!

3rd place at metalchamp bandcontest
