My friends called me Diana or "Di," however others insist that I be called Lady Diana. Some call me the Rose of England. I am a real Princess, if you can believe that. I was born in Sandringham (Norfolk-England) to Lord Edward John and Lady Frances Spencer. My Father is the equerry to Queen Elizabeth II. I had very warm memories of my childhood growing up, that is, until Father and Mother divorced. It brought much pain and sorrow to my heart. My step-mother didn't help matters any. I was broken by her constant yelling and coldness to me. So were my sisters and my brother. Sarah, Jane, and Charles. She was not fond of us and we knew it immediately! I have blue eyes, blonde hair, I'm tall and slender, and I'm a ball of energy! I love children, teaching, fashion, and especially meeting other people from all over the world! I was married once at the ripe young age of 20 to British Throne Prince Charles. Sad to say, I am single and starting a brand new life all over again. Camilla will finally get her most heartfelt wish now.... {*sigh*} The best thing to come from my marriage was not the marriage itself, but my two wonderful sons, Willie and Harry. Both are Princes of course, and the joys that I live for each day. A close friend wrote the most beautiful song for me not too long ago. He entitled it "A Candle In The Wind!" I don't know why because I don't feel I deserve such incredible words spoken about me. Let's see..what else about me would be interesting? Oh yes, I was a nanny! Can you belive that? A real nanny, and I worked at the Young England School in London for a while, teaching my wee ones. Some of my travels took me to Berlin where I became the honorary colonel of the Royal Hampshire Regiment for a season. It was such an honor. Ok, I'm going to wrap this up. I love to help people and especially AIDS victims and the poor and disabled. I realize a lot of family is "not" okay with this, but I always follow my heart. In 1990, I was voted "Best Dressed Woman" and in 1992, the "Most Beautiful Woman." Somehow I still cannot see myself fitting the descriptions others have of me, but it really makes me feel beautiful inside! Guess I'd better try to keep up appearances as much as possible! Another thing. I visited Angola and saw the horror and disgust of what landmines have done to those poor people. I had no choice but to demand a world wide ban on those weapons. That's just a little about me.
