I like to take pictures of things, like brushfires at night, and various natural disasters happening in front of me. I know this directly conflicts with my whole "I hate going outside because there is danger there" and there I am not only going outside, but going outside and leaping headlong into danger. But I am unapologetic about my conflicting duplicity.
I try not to meet too many people. I have an inescapable fear of outside people, outside things, and just outside in general. I live in my room and hide under the covers whenever the phone rings. My rational mind knows that I have nothing to fear from a ringing phone, but the primal instinct inside me says "Do not trust the magic talking box!"
I like to listen to sugary happy music that is so peppy and saccharine-sweet that it will literally give me tooth decay after prolonged listening. This is because inside, I am a troubled person, with a dark abyss that can only be filled with such things as that.
Conversely, I like to watch nothing but the worst, infuriating, and depressing films ever put to celluloid. This is because it properly reflects my depth (which is bottomless) and I always seek to bring other people down to my level whenever possible. Misery loves company, but Suffering enjoys victims.
The only television I will watch is Cartoon Network and if I am not watching Cartoon Network, it is because Iron Chef is on. There is nothing else worth watching on television except cartoons and psychotic Japanese chefs. I've not quite figured out if this is ironic or not, I'll update again when I have an answer.
The only books I will deign to read must have a picture on every page. As a youth I watched too much MTV, which destroyed my attention span, therefore the only thing that will grab me from my manic mindset are pretty pictures. And shiny things, which fascinate me.
