I guess I'm just your standard ever-evolving twenty-something Woman-Girl, always trying to figure IT out, bent on meaning (me?), and quite absolutely entirely altogether clueless about so very many things. I over-think most things, and often do so to the point of my own detriment (ah the heartbreak of a latent-perfectionist); I'm always sorting through these issues of productivity and time-management and maturation- I'm bound one day to get it all down (right?!). I'm the only child of my two favorite people, born and raised in RVA, and in another dozen or so credits I'll have this BFA nonsense under my belt; before I get too caught up in all the confusion of 'what next in this real-life business?' I fully intend on embarking on some incredible life-changing awe-inspiring adventure (Italy perhaps? Maybe I'll find a brilliant apprenticeship or something.) In the meantime, before adventures and enlightenment and before I get around to whatever it is I'll eventually be getting around to in this whole life-experience-thing, I'm a full time VCU Craft/Metal student and the proud and loving caregiver to two cats (one old and thin, another young and fat), a gorgeous full grown Brazilian rainbow boa (who's never harmed even a fly in her life), and a not-even-two-year-old former-feeder rat who is officially worth at least $150 (or, rather, the tumor I just had cut off of him was). I just recently quit smoking cigarettes (which I am superbly proud of), but I still have (as I'm sure I will always) plenty of other vices; I adore the rain, and I plan on knowing how to take apart and put back together a car by the time I'm thirty. I love my friends, family, and wonderful [but oh so silly] girlfriend more than life itself. I am excited by my own potential, but hesitant to fully embrace it. This is what I'm working with.
