Making beats was his first venture but he didnt see himself provailing with that and was confinsed he should rap when he met Lil Frosty when he moved out to Cali in 2004. The way the too met was very unusal but they started talking and they both shared a common interest in music. Rod knew Lil Frosty had beats for days and he noticed that some of them weren’t being used so he decided to take one. Lil Frosty wasnt to happy with that ideal until Rod let him hear the track... HOW WE RIDE. A few short weeks later the song leaked out and became an instant hit down in Alabama. It got attention from local radio stations and it eventually got on the air and into rotation all within a couple of weeks. Shortly after Hotrod got in contact with EMOTIONAL L PRODUCTIONS from SOUNDCLICK.COM and made a track called IM A BEAST. It also became an instant hit and has been the 1 song on soundclick for over 6 weeks and is has been in the top 5 over 4 months straight. With that being said there is alot more for the artist in this group to accomplish because all of this has taking place in less than a year.
