CHI-TOWNS MOST WANTED
THE BIOGRAPHY...Dj NSK had started his career with mixing Reggaeton tracks... But by 2005 he decided to stretch out and begin mixing other types of music such as hip-hop into his sets and mixtapes. He went by a different dj name in the past, but decided to change it because it had a resemblance to a more famous dj in the Chicago area. He seen the name change as an opportunity to start over and rebuild his career in order to not only stick to one genre. As soon as the name change went into effect, he had dropped a mixtape titled "Dat Gush Vol. 1" which was a free release and before you know it everyone had a copy or wanted one! With the free distribution of this mixtape it really allowed him to not only get his name out to new people, but his old fans were able to see how good he was able to handle the transition from mixing Reggaeton to mixing hip-hop.Now that you got the basics, lets rewind back before all this; lets get into detail:At only 18 years old Dj NSK was able to self produce and distribute his very first reggaeton cd, "Reggaeton Juke Fest 2005, which was able to help get his name out there and before he knew it he was getting booked for events.At a very young age, as a roadie for Sonido Flama, it was where NSK found his true passion for music, traveling to various locations throughout the Midwest. At the age of 13 NSK decided that he wanted to become a DJ and follow through his uncles foot steps... With money being a very big issue NSK had to find ways to make his name, it was not an easy thing. Luckily NSK had teamed up with a fellow classmate Ron, who at the time was also trying to get his name out there - known as DJ Faze. With money being a factor they had to resort to DJing with "bootleg" equipment. They used two portable cd players, a two channel mixer, a radio for their amp, and a t.v surround sound - system for their speakers. As time passed by they were hitting every party and were starting to finally ger their name out. They had built a good reputation for themselves but would later separate and start working on separate projects.With much more experence his uncle would now let NSK DJ at all his upcoming events. This was the start to a whole different era for NSK. He was now able to show his skills to a much more mature crowd. This was where he leared all about the buisness and what it was all about. NSK was now on the rise. With a well known and very respected reputation it was easy for him to hit the party scene, NSK found himself making good money in such a wild enviorment. Making money on the side he still kept it real with his uncle and still DJed under his uncle's production label (Rangel Production), which is still running today. At this point NSK was known throughout the Hip-Hop and latino scene. This would be a great advantage for NSK's future.As time passed by NSK acomplised many of his goals, yet he felt that he needed to do more. He would now start making random mixtapes, selling them all over town, mostly around schools. With all this being done he teamed up with two of his buddies,"Big D" and "Juice." They both were trying to make a name for themselves in the rap game. This was a new challege for NSK. Without wasting time all three of them put their heads together and wanted to start on a new project, they wanted to create a underground mix tape. Nsk made it his goal to make all of this happen. He converted his family basement to his personal "ghetto" studio. He went off and bought a $15 mic, a simple recording program and stole a cheap ass keybord from his closest girl-friend. This was when Dynasty Productions was born. As soon as they started recording NSK new that they had a shot and wanted to make something happen. They recorded some songs but never had the chance to actually make the real mix tape. Everybody was busy with their own thing. NSK tried his best to keep it together, but work simply got in the way.At this very moment in 2008 - You can catch Dj NSK mixing at local club events, and dropping a new mixtape every so often, just keep checking his myspace you never know when he will have a new mix up, or just want to let you know where he is spinning this weekend!
