I'm a twenty one year old college student majoring in psychology and minoring in english. I also am involved with my college's radio station, which has been a lot of fun.I have the world's best boyfriend and we have been together for over a year now. My ability to love someone and be loved in return never ceases to amaze me.A lot of my journal entries are boring updates on whats going on in my life. Occasionally I have the long mushy lovey dovey post. I'm also unashamed to write anything and everything.If you go back to years past, my entries revolve around my long standing major depression, which has been under control since November 2004. Those entries are mostly about how sad I was and how much I was Self Injuring at the time. It's not something I am always proud of, especially since cutting is the "cool thing to do" and sadness has become so fucking cliche in the emo culture we live in. I love my friends and family for sticking with me throughout all those years, they are the reason why I am here today.I also have a long standing problem with body image that lead to a bought of anorexia that I have been lucky enough to recover from. I really hate how I have become overweight again, but I wouldn't want to go back to being almost normal weight and as sick as i was. I knew that I would have died if I stayed on that path. My mom and boyfriend probably deserve most of the credit for getting me to eat again. They were patient with me, and yet strong enough to see through my shit. The rest would go to me for having the courage to eat when I was hungry. It's still a struggle, and I know I have to once again lose weight because I am unhealthy right now. I am just looking for that balance between going about it the right way, and not eating again.I guess that's me in a nutshell...
