i'm 57 years old. i live in on 7 1/2 acres just outside of port townsend wa. we have a junkyard that we are slowly turning into a outside art installation of our own making. that includes an ever growing and changing large garden that incorporates all types of rusty pieces of metal that i find in the piles of stuff people have left and accumulated here for the past thirty or more years. i'm a fiber artist. i hand dye silk and other natural fabrics and turn them into whatever makes me feel good that day. i've done a large body of clothes and sell them in a store locally. i also do quilts, dolls, pillows, bags,and wall hangings.i am currently working on a new theme of dolls that i am very excited about. it's a project in brevity. i'm hoping to take much less time than the sixty hours or more for a doll that i have spent in the past. i have six children-heaven, mahalah, aaron, ananda, laree and riley. there's one grandson, brody. i enjoy spending time with my grandson now. he's almost two and it's a great age to share walking, throwing rocks, finding frogs, bugs, playing with the puppy, and seeing who can make the funniest face. my life is complex, challenging and never boring. i probably spend more time than i should reading books. my partner is a mad recycler who has wanted to save everything, and i am someone who needs cleanliness and no clutter to function. we are a good match, especially now when the government is so busy interfering in many peoples' lives. i love and champion the rights of pitbulls. i have one male and female who has turned into quite an attentive and intelligent lady. she is so smart she has taken to consuming books and the newspaper. we just hope she absorbs everything she consumes. the garden is getting bigger, the fruit trees are happy, the asparagus are coming up and the flowers are blooming again. life is good, even if it's bad.
