You Belong in 1955
You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in! What Year Do You Belong In?

My Interests

I like a little bit of everything. Except the stuff you like. That stuff sucks.
Your Famous Last Words Will Be:
"I dunno, press the button and find out." What Will Your Famous Last Words Be?

I'd like to meet:

I've already been blessed by an amazing family and the best friends anyone could ever hope for. If you're lucky enough to get in good with us, stay that way. We have a zero-tolerance policy for stupidity. And don't forget the height requirement.

Music:

Music is my life. I couldn't live without it. Some bands I love.... Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, The Beatles, Radiohead, The Cure, The Loft, Richie Kotzen, Otep, 80's hair bands, The Mars Volta, Racer X, Jonny Lang, Eminem, Billy Joel, The Violent Femmes, Elvis, old Motown, Janis Joplin, old Michael Jackson, Mickey Avalon, John Mayer... etc, etc.
Your Taste in Music:
90's Alternative: Highest Influence
Hair Bands: Highest Influence
Classic Rock: High Influence
80's R&B: Medium Influence
80's Rock: Medium Influence How's Your Taste in Music?

Movies:

Anything with Johnny Depp, most musicals, old black and white films (Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, etc-- you know, the good stuff), Young Guns holds a special place in my heart. Reservoir Dogs rocks my socks off. Tim Burton is a huge influence (especially in my kitchen), and I love movies that make me laugh. Laughter feels good these days.

Television:

I use my TV to watch movies. Although I do try to catch Dancing With the Stars as often as possible. What? I don't ask you to watch it with me.

Books:

Stephen King, John Steinbeck, Hunter S. Thompson, Margaret Atwood, Lewis Carroll. I highly recommend Ellen Hopkins (especially Impulse). I will read anything anyone gives me or recommends. I love to read. Gimme.

Heroes:

Jami. Cause she can get a soul train started anywhere. Even at a corporate awards ceremony for a major bank.

My Blog

Wow.

I have no other words to say.  I was told about 4 hours ago.... and I still can't quite get it through my mind.  I am so angry and so hurt and still so sorry for her... I had no idea.  ...

Nobody can eat 50 eggs.

Paul Newman died yesterday.  I'm sad.  I'm going to go watch Cool Hand Luke.  ~Bree "He was smiling... That's right. You know, that, that Luke smile of his. He had it on his face right to the...

Songs I haven’t heard in awhile

Old songs, all new meanings.  Kind of makes me feel better, strangely.  Curiouser and curioser.  First one is just a little ditty that seems to make sense these days... second one ...

Random weirdness to add to your day

Things I learned at work today, with added commentary by yours truly.     A karaoke singing of "We Are The World" burns 20.7 calories.  *Just another reason to sing loudly... in public....

The joys of living alone.

Yeah, it pretty much rules all.  I can do my own thing all the time and never worry about whether or not I'm inconveniencing anyone else.  It's perfect for a selfish kid like myself.  :...
