My name is Richard Dean. I write horror fiction and carve Halloween pumpkins (and do a few other creative little things, when time permits). Inspired by my tremendous, lifelong affection for horror films, I have created this dark little dwelling- The Evil Patch- as an online gallery of my carved pumpkin creations.Many of the designs you'll see here are the creations of other talented individuals, such as Ryan Wickstrand (www.zombiepumpkins.com), however I do usually favor creating some cool designs of my own, such as the GATES OF HELL poster zombie, one of the half fish/half humans from Stuart Gordon's DAGON, the mutated Dr. Pretorius from Stuart Gordon's FROM BEYOND and the SHOCK WAVES Nazi zombie.
