Malicious Intent is an award-winning metal radio show at the University of Kansas that has been airing for over 16 years and is still running strong to this day.
The current run of Malicious Intent teachers are:
Mark of the Beast, Wulf, Professor Grindstein, and Vlad.With the help of great record labels like Relapse Records, Willowtip, Nuclear Blast, Southern Lord, The End, and Metal Blade we help devastate the community with todays most recent heavyweights.
Seeing and speaking with bands on the road also helps our cause. It helps us by offering another artist for fans to bang their head to, and helps the artist receive the much needed recognition that they deserve.
Our emphasis is on "underground" acts that wouldn't be heard on corporate-run radio. We touch on everything from Doom, Grindcore, Power Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Thrash, Sludgecore, Viking Metal and anything and everything in-between.
