About Me

I'm Tara and I make silly things like this:

They look just like us..

James and Owen are my entire world.

My Interests

Rita's Water Ice, coconuts, forensic science, philosophy, writing, Pop-Ice, the LLL message boards, moving to various states, Dubble Bubble, roller coasters, pizza Pringles, Pez, spider monkeys, tastykake, soft pretzels, yoohoo...and various other meaningless things.

I'd like to meet:

Hubert Cumberdale. ....

Music:

My usual music and whatever James entertains me with..

On an unrelated note, Tim Armstrong has become the complete opposite of what you'd call "musically inclined" for it seems as though he may have misplaced his guitar and found some Asian women, one shitty beat, and some 13 year old friends. ...I don't look forward to the new Rancid in the slightest. It's a really good thing he put his solo music out for free because he wouldn't have made a dime from it.

Movies:

There needs to be a good movie out. Someday there will be. ...Or someday I'll just have to bite the bullet and watch the same stupid, boring movies that everyone else seems to enjoy. Whatever comes first.

Television:

Various high-quality programming and such

... CourtTV.

Books:

Ray Bradbury is definitely the craziest author ever along with Poe.
'Of Mice and Men' was really good, 'Teasing Secrets From the Dead' was a really good forensic anthropology book, and 'Wherever You Go, There You Are' was introduced to me by Boppo the Great who is dearly missed.

Heroes:

Jimmeh Timmeh. That's right.

My Blog

I feed him miracle grow

Owen seriously doesn't even look like the same baby I gave birth to. How can this child grow so fast? He seems enormous to me.. My one month old son is enormous.

Owen’s a week old!

Happy week-old birthday-thing, Owen. How has a week gone by already?! I have a feeling I'll be saying this every week, month, and year.. I couldn't be happier. Especially after we get back to Texas....

Oh my dear karate kid son

Oh my little son, my itty bitty son causing such a not so itty bitty stomach. How I enjoy the late-night punches and kicks to my hips. Awkward, it feels, as though you are sitting happily and rambunct...
