I'd like to meet:
I discovered Hayk Adamyan's Art in 1998 when I was looking through the First International Biennale' catalogue of Gyumri. Unfortunately, before that I didn't have the chance to get in touch with Maestro's works. But this discovery gave me great joy and pleasant surprise. On one occasion Zori Balayan told me that Hayk Adamyan's pictures are beautiful in their dramatic feature. Our renowned fellow citizen, the chairman of "Carnegi" fund Vardan Grigoryan, whom I presented with one of Adamyan's photos, was of the same opinion.
Adamyan's pictures will become a peculiar lighthouse for generations of reviving Gyumri.

During recent yours many Armenians and foreign photographers have visited Gyumri. Many interesting works have been created. There have been numerous publications in magazines and Art albums. But the majority of those works have been a report-type of pictures concerning the earthquake of the devastated town.
Hayk Adamyan's care is different. In his multiplayer Art, Gyumri and Gyumrians are presented in their peculiar inner world of dramatic vitality.
Hayk's creations take us to a unique world, a world of high artistry and skill, lyrical and subtle emotions, a world of real taste, the world of Adamyan Hayk.

Hayk Adamyan's creations are condensed symbols of reality, saturated with strong dramatic tenseness. This is when photography becomes not a surface but away of thinking, logic. Adamyan, the logician has succeeded in finding a language where words seem to be useless. This is the language that doesn't need dictionaries. His pictures, due to their unique ability of generalization, stand out of mere photography and locality, thus acquiring universal value.
