2008 Has launched HTF into the Chicago Local Music Spotlight with Energetic Live Shows,Playing with some of Chicago's TOP Local Bands,and bringing in huge crowds to witness the live HTF experience.
Heavy the Fall have racked up many credentials and gained valued Stage experience packing in fans at venues around Chicago such as The Metro,A 2008 MOBFEST Slot at The Elbo Room,Double Door,Martyrs,Penny Road Pub,and countless other venues locally and nationally.
In June of 2008, Heavy The Fall Was featured as NBC 5's The Local Tourist.Com's Band of the Week.
August of 2008 brought a Full Page Feature Interview of HTF in The Chicago Tribune's Red Eye entertainment Newspaper written by Michael Schmitt.
HTF Also Had a Featured interview on Q101.1's Local 101 w/ Chris payne,and Played a Full Live set w/ Legend Charlie Benante of Anthrax on the drumkit at Chicago City Limits in Schaumburg,IL on 8/8/8
