music (listening to it, writing it, playing it, going to shows, playing my own shows); books (I read incessantly); movies (when I'm not reading, I'm movie-ing); running (I'm training for a half marathon in March); anything historic (I love museums and I always read those historic landmark thingys); camping, hiking, and canoeing (although I rarely get to go these days); browsing musical instrument shops; crosswords

All of it, but here's what I listen to on a regular basis: Chris Whitley, MuteMath, RATM, Nick Drake, Chris Cornell, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jebediah Johns, Blackbird (the one from Tifton, GA, not those posers from LA), Imogene Heap, Wolfmother, Tool, Army of Anyone, The White Stripes, Silversun Pickups, The Raconteurs.
Movie that's blown me away most recently: The 25th Hour with Edward Norton, Barry Pepper, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman (directed by Spike Lee). This movie fucked me up. -- I think my favorite movie of all time would have to be The Shawshank Redemption followed closely by the Godfather trilogy. Oh, and anything by the Cohen Brothers.

If you believe in the "liberal bias in the media" myth, you should definitely read this book. I've also gotten hooked into the Dark Tower series, although I swore I would never read Stephen King again (his endings wound me). My good buddy Wayne has convinced me and so far so good. At least it's a really long epic, so if the ending is bad, I have a stay of exectution. I got a crap load of books for Christmas so I'll be busy for while. Stay tuned...
