when i actually stopped to think about it, i have suprizingly few interests.
- computers (not consoles)
- weed (not soapbar)
after that it gets a bit blurry.. oh well.
suck me, beautiful
not quite sure why someone would take the time to enlighten the world on what music they listen to, after all most of them are just trying to show off their knowledge of whatever music 'scene' they happen to be in, wether they know it or not.
but i if was really PUSHED. i'd name: pixies/radiohead as pretty much the most ultimate combo i could wish to see in my lifetime. having already seen the pixies at leeds festival 2005, just radiohead to go then my life is pretty much complete.
far too many to mention. all i'll say is as long as the acting and storyline is good, its a good movie. (yeah the word good sucks HARD)
havent watched a tv as such for the last 3-4 months, aside from occasional viewings of the news. downloading tv eps is the way to go ;)
lost / family guy / american dad / the oc
a terrible thing to admit, but yes, i havent read a book since 2000-2001. no that does not mean i am illiterate, but it does mean that tend to make ALOT of grammar/spelling mistakes that the average idiot who reads their papers and magazines aimed at people with the reading age of 8 dont make. (yes im talking to YOU, sun/mirror/mail readers!).
i dont have any heros, 'hero' implies the person is amazing and never really screwed up, that defies the point of being alive (assuming there is one anyway).
instead i thought the 10 people in my lifetime that are going to read this would be more interested in some quotes i thought meant something to me. anyway, fuck you. here they are:
Sophocles - "There is no sense in crying over spilt milk. Why bewail what is done and cannot be recalled?"
Mahatma Gandhi - "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony."
George Orwell - "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."
Winston Churchill - "Any 20 year-old who isn't a liberal doesn't have a heart, and any 40 year-old who isn't a conservative doesn't have a brain."
Plato - "Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something."
Joseph Stalin - "Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don't allow our enemies to have guns, why should we allow them to have ideas?"
George Bernard Shaw - "The lack of money is the root of all evil."
Aristotle - "Men regard it as their right to return evil for evil and, if they cannot, feel they have lost their liberty"
Friedrich Nietzsche - "Is man one of God's blunders? Or is God one of man's blunders?"
(yes i am well aware none of them are female, if i see something insightful written by a woman i will add it!)(this does not imply no woman has not written anything insightful before, merely that i have not read it.)
