The Ars Nova Sinfonia represents the many communities of the South Bay. The ensemble specializes in performing new music as well as ‘old’ music with a new interpretation or twist! In the last 10 years, members from this ensemble have performed with:

- Tribaland Brazilian Percussion Ensemble
- Keali’i Reichel – 2005 Grammy nominee
- Hawaiian ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro
- 2 time Grammy winner Daniel Ho
- Featured on California Gold with Huell Howser
- Recitals and Concerts in Europe and in Australia/New Zealand
- Vienna Honor Orchestra concerts in Austria and Czech Republic
- Chamber Orchestra tours to Slovenia, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and England
Our 2006 European tour included performances in Slovenia and Italy. The tour also featured the world premier of Dr. Doyle’s Concertino for Violin and Chamber Orchestra – written for Julie Matsuda.
In 2007, our tour featured the music of two emerging composers from Los Angeles, Lyle Greenlund and Travis Melvin – music specifically written for the tour. Two of Dr. Doyle’s works also received their premiers, with several vocal and instrumental performances by guest artists from the LA area.
