The recent addition of Brooklyn based artist John O'Hara (keyboards) has expanded Fragile's sound. Since their union in October of 2007, FRAGILE has played at a variety of venues including Luna Lounge, Trash Bar, Arlene's Grocery, Lit Lounge, among others. FRAGILE recently performed at the CSV Cultural Center as part of 'A Cloak For Any Occasion' hosted by Brooklyn-based artist James J. Williams III and held in conjunction with the opening of the New Museum of Contemporary Art on the Bowery.

Sounds Like: In essence, Fragile's music contrasts ethereal resonances with the drive of a steady melody. We feel that this distinction delivers a uniquely rich sound that is both strong and subtle. Our music is like the edge of a shadow, describing the indistinct silhouettes cast when light encounters darkness.

-George Grant, Planetgrey Studios/The Serpenteens:

'FRAGILE comfortably incorporate the very best of 80's style shoegaze with a smidgeon of Sisters of Mercy-ish sullenness and a small dash of Jane's Addiction's sheer bravado neatly wrapping it all in a bubbling shell of modern postpunk/gothic bliss. Luscious soundscapes, ethereal vocals and classy arrangements make this band a true standout...their live performance: Stunning.'

Garrett Lyons, Vervicide Magazine:

Fragile,"EP" – self-released – CDEP Fragile is a Brooklyn-based four-piece located in the Williamsburg neighborhood and composed of three Argentines and a recent addition of a Brooklyn artist. Somehow in this combination of locations and nations, Fragile comes out with a sound strikingly close to 1980s British indie with the feel of Echo & The Bunnymen and The House Of Love combined with the best elements of the Manchester sound. The bookend tracks of the EP aren't standouts, but they aren't letdowns. The real beauty comes in the middle with "Next To Me" and "Aileen" producing a real flash of inspiration with brilliant songwriting and just a splash of art-rock. This EP is a lush record of gorgeous production and fantastic song construction. This could be a band that makes waves for years to come.

-Todd Zuniga, Opium Magazine:

"Fragile shoots a cozy-seeming chill up your spine before it half-buries you in a complicated feeling of hope and heartbreak."
