MyGen Profile Generator What can or cannot be said about the rocker called Gunner Blade. From playing trumpet in jazz bands to guitar in rock bands,this guy was in it for the long haul. Studying music theory back in school did give Gunner an advantage, but not the hands on that he needed. From the Dan electro he played in his bedroom,to the Gibson he now plays on stage,Gunner knew it was going to be a hard road. As he made his way through the club circuit sucking down every experience he had, good or bad,Gunner would keep these memories locked within,never to forget.Along the way he met many fellow musicians that influenced him in many ways. Appearing in such video's as" I love Rock n Roll" with Joan Jett at Max's Kansas City to" I Hate myself for Loving you"at the Capital Theater in N.J. Both places gone now. Small parts but big memories. Joan Jett would have to be one of his biggest influences. He remembers her when she was with the Runaways.He keeps in touch with Cherie but hasn't seen Joan for awhile. One of his saddest but fondest memories was hangin with Sandy West a year before she died. Gunner was doing sound for Cherie and Sandy at the Chillerfest and was able to chat with Sandy for awhile. She will be missed.Gunner is the founder and guitarist for the band Red on Black which has just released it's new cd entitled RB3. He hopes the fans will be happy with it.
