After the Flesh - Shadows (live @ the Boardwalk)

I have been through a lot of crap in my life, but I would not trade it for anything. Why? Because if I did not go through all that crap I would not be the person I am. I am content with who I am. Certainly I would not mind a few changes here and there, and I am working on them one change at a time.
I have had many injuries, so I do know what physical pain is. I have had many emotional experiences, so I know what that kind of pain is too. All I know is that in order to grow as a person you have to risk pain of some kind, whether it be physical or emotional. I am willing to go that extra step, but sometimes I have gone a little too gung-ho, and I have paid for it. I suppose I should be a little more cautious, but then it would take away some of what makes life worth living.
I am a musician, I play drums, but I am by no means a professional. I just enjoy getting together with others that have a love of music as I do. I listen to classical, country, rock, metal, pop. Pretty much anything that hits a chord with me. I have my preferences as to what I like, and they may not be what others like, but that is what makes me unique. I can barely play the guitar. I can't remember the chords worth a damn, so I fake it for the most part. But I still have a good ear for writing when I am working with someone who actually has the ability to listen and help me put what is in my head into sounds.
Well, if you want to know more then you will just have to get to know me. I have done a lot in my life and I have a lot of stories that I can tell if you want to listen. It all depends on the mood at the moment as to what I talk about.
I try to keep things a little on the lighter side because there is no reason to be too serious all the time. But I can be serious when needed. I love a good joke, a bad joke, or a dirty joke.
