Joel Pingitore and the PlayGround of Sound are a guitar oriented blues /rock band based out of Madison,WI. that must be experienced live. Joel & the PlayGround have become one the strongest and most entertaining blues bands in Southern Wisconsin with a very loyal fan following that is growing by the day. With blend of original music and cover songs by influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. they keep the crowd wanting more late into the night.
Joel Pingitore is a truly unique talent on guitar and anyone who sees him perform comes away knowing they have witnessed something special. The rhythm section of Frank Queram on bass and Joel Brantmeier on drums is rock solid. Queram is an accomplished bassist with a flair for blues and funk. Brantmeier is a groove king on drums with a dynamic style that keeps the music fresh and interesting. Brad Reichert handles the vocals for the PlayGround. His powerful and soulful voice is a perfect fit for the band. This singers infectious personality and big voice keeps the crowd entertained throughout the show.
