AO Events/Viewing Party Calendar
Take a look at our events page at http://www.theamericanoutlaws.com/content/blogcategory/14/37
/
and gander at our events calendar.
The beauty of this is that it is a public calendar, so let all know about it and keep track of events and viewing parties in your area, and if you have a google calendar, just subscribe and save our events directly to your calendar.
and also that....
It can be shared, so any one that is in charge of chapter events that schedules viewing parties in your area, start uploading your events directly onto our calendar for all to see.
It just takes to steps:
1. Set up a gmail account, if you don't have one already. (http://mail.google.com)
2. Send me your gmail address, [email protected]
After that we will get you shared and you can start uploading your events to unite more US fans in your area and for the movement.

Mission:
To support the United States National Team through a unified and dedicated group of supporters.
History:
The American Outlaws originally started as a local Lincoln, Nebraska supporters group. The group attended as many games as their budget would allow them. Some of the most memorable highlights over the last few years were US - Mexico in Columbus, OH, the 24 hour drive to Hartford for the US – Latvia game followed by the 24 hour drive back, the Germany World Cup experience, and the 2007 Gold Cup Semis and Finals. With each trip this group of dedicated supporters began to see a lack of real organization between each city that they attended, some games would be well organized with US soccer events and others would have nothing planned around the event. This fact was highlighted the day of the US vs. Ghana game when nothing was organized before the biggest US soccer game since the US vs. Germany game in the 2002 World Cup.
With a country as big as the United States organization is a critical aspect to creating a unified culture of soccer fans. The more that the fans are united the greater our game day presence will be- creating a loud, intimidating atmosphere at home and neutral sites.
Importance of Supporters:
Whether you are looking at soccer, football, baseball, or basketball it is apparent at any sport that the home team has a major advantage with great fans. With a loud organized group of fans the United States can gain a huge advantage in any competition that the National Team takes apart in and that will only happen through organization at both local and national levels.
Importance of Supporters to Players:
Of course fans always think they can make a difference, but the point was driven home when we meet Frankie Heyduk outside US –Czech game in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and said, “Be loud you don’t know how much it means to the playersâ€
As we enter into a new chapter of The American Outlaws as a national organization we look forward to many more highlights and through the community we hope we can accomplish our goals of accelerating the knowledge, commitment, and organization of US fans.
