About Me

I have been singing ever since I can remember.
I was active in church choir when I was younger at First United Methodist Church in West Palm Beach, FL. I began taking voice when I was 14 and studied throughout college.

After college I didn’t sing much. I had done some Karaoke, and a few talent shows along the way, one of which I sang Voi Che Sappeti a capella. I was told by the judges I needed to learn to sing in English. It was bizarre...

Anyway, last year, I was presented the opportunity to sing at a restaurant, so I began brushing up. I worked with my Jerri Goffe, my voice instructor from high school for about a month to make sure that vocally things were still working properly and thee were no holes in my voice, and off I went.

In December of 2006 I was a Soloist at Christmas on Church Street. I took another 6 months off - bad relationship choice - we all make them. In July I started singing again. Since then I have recorded the 8 songs you find on this page, plus about 10 others that I need to post. I was just selected as a finalist in PALM BEACH POP STAR, and from there who knows... I was PCS’ Artist of the Week the week of December 23, 2007 and just got back from a week in the studio.

I am very proud to be a part of Project Child Smiles. PCS allows artist to give a bit back. I have always believed that the most important thing that anyone can do is make a difference in the life of a child. Look for PCS's new CD - I am being included on their anthology.

I will be posting  events I will be involved in on this site as they are arranged. Check back often to see if I am in your area!

Just Me :)

Influences: I grew up in a family who loved film and musical classics.
I remember being allowed to stay up late to watch Singin’ in the Rain, or Kiss Me Kate. My grandmother had gone to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, so Theatre is in my blood. Childhood stories for me were not fairy tales, they were stories of tennis matches with Bette Davis, meeting Helen Hayes and Kate Hepburn, and of the stage. From this I developed a love for musical theatre, which has influenced my Barbara Streisand and Bette Midler are two other very strong influences, as well as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Bing Crosby, Marilyn Monroe and Karen Carpenter.

I was trained in the classics, which lead to one of my favorite songs to sing being Voi Che Sapetti from The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. It’s just fun to sing challenging songs! Honestly I have to say that all music influences me. Music creates joy, sadness, reflects love and warms cold souls. It is the international language and I am blessed to be able to use it to speak to others.

Below are some videos created for some of my songs. Hope you enjoy.

In My Life

The Rose

Remember When

Sounds Like: Most recently I have been told I sound like the singer of the theme songs from the 1960’s Bond movies, but I have also been compared to Janie Bob of one of my favorite groups, The Bobs, and even to Barbara Streisand.

It’s all good!

In the words of Eeyore... "Thanks for noticing me!"
