I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, the boyfriend and I just moved to a wonderful house in Parma Heights.. much closer to civilization than the last place we lived! I'm working full time and preparing to enter nursing school in Spring of 09. I'm looking forward to an awesome summer of concerts, baseball, cookouts and camping.

Things I love are concerts, hoodies, my boyfriend, mexican food, beer, air conditioning, fall weather, Ghost Hunters, Mexico and its beaches, gap jeans, my family, and football. Things I hate are obnoxious ex-girlfriends, made-up words like irregardless and supposably, people who push their way into elevators before people have a chance to exit, bad grammar, girls who scream when they see their friends, cover charges, sluts, cigarette smoke and the smokers who whine about the smoking ban, strangers who try to add me to their myspace pages, children at Dave and Buster's (and most children in general), martinis, and sushi.

My Interests

movies, music, dining out, cheap wine, writing (articles, commentaries, poetry, letters, whatever), drinking games, board games, sports (OSU, Mount Union Purple Raiders, Indians, Cavs, Browns), playing tennis, concerts, singing in my car, spending time with my niece and nephews, Law and Order (now CSI is on more, so it's my show of choice), helping people, vacations in mexico, my friends...and so on.

I'd like to meet:

your mom?

The Maid of Honor Deliberate Gentle Love Master ( DGLM ) Appreciated for your kindness and envied for all your experience, you are The Maid of Honor.

Charismatic, affectionate, and terrific in relationships, you are what many guys would call a "perfect catch"--and you probably have many admirers, each wishing to capture your long-term love. You're careful, extra careful, because the last thing you want is to hurt anyone. Especially some poor boy whose only crime was liking you.

We've deduced you're fully capable of a dirty fling, but you do feel that post-coital attachment after hooking up. So, conscientious person that you are, you do your best to reserve physical affection for those you respect...so you can respect yourself.

Your biggest negative is the byproduct of your careful nature: indecision. You're just as slow rejecting someone as you are accepting them.

Tri-C is hot.

And not in any good ways.  I’m sitting in the common area between o-chem lecture and lab, trying (per usual) not to break a ridiculous sweat or vomit.. or both.  School makes me nauseo...

I'm going on vacation, and you're not.

Well, maybe you are. I can't be certain that you aren't. But, the fact of the matter is that I am, and it's really my first real vacation ever in my life, so don't be all jealous if you've only had li...

Remember me?

Happily Ever After

I was reflecting today over the fact that movies, especially the ever obnoxious "chick flicks", give society, more specifically women, such a demented view of the "happily ever after" scenario.  ...
