The band 7000$ is one of the brightest musical names in Russia. Combining heavy guitar melodies and exotic sound of saxophone they create truly amazing musical pictures.
7000$ band was formed in 1999 in Nizhnii Novgorod, Russia. In 2000 they released their debut album “You”. The album was released on the independent label "NNSP”. Their debut video "The CALL of JUNGLES" was in rotation on A1TV and other major TV chanels for over 3 years. The album went on to sell over 7 thousand copies .In 2002 the group has won first place at All-Russia competition "Sprite".After that group have taken in rigid rotation of all largest radio stations.
The band were nominated for the RAMP Award "The best group"In Autumn 2005. Together with KORN ,7000$ performed at MSA in Moscow in 2005. They have also been featured on Rock festivals such as Nashestvie 2005- 2008, Smertfest 2005- 2007, Emmays, Mayday, Urbania, AIR, Alternative new year tour 2007-2008 and many others. The band released their second album “HeavyBaksoPops”In Autumn 2005.
Band have three videos Bezhat (Run), Krik i Ruk (Scream or grovl), Djungli Zovyt (The CALL of JUNGLES) from this albom also the group has large tour around the country in support of album. These videos was aired on various TV chanels like A1TV, O2TV and Music BOX. The album sold over five thousand copies in the first ten weeks of release. In october 2006 the band were once again nominated for the prestigious RAMP Award.
In october 2007 they released their third, truly-conceptual album “True or Corpse”. The first video for the song “True or Corpse” was released to Internet and national TV chanels in the fourth quarter of 2007. Also they make video for the song "Slave".
They have toured with Russian bands such as: Jane air, Amatory and Psiheya. At the end 2007-2008 they get a big tour across the country about 30 cities for support of new album. Their current album “True or Corpse” has sold more than ten thousand copies in the first month of release.The album has received positive responses at the majority of musical critics.
Now, group working over new album "light" and preparing to a massive tour around the Russia and foreign countries.
