Subzconscious

21 year old Griot ,Subzconscious is a founder member along with his father Niles 'Asheber' Hailstones of the revolutionary family group Got2Remember. Hailing from Ladbroke Grove, West London, he grew up in a musical family. His father was a regular session musician in visiting Jamaican artists bands and was also a member of Misty in Roots for 15 years, as well as being an artist in his own right, producer, band leader and educator. Subz was also a member of the Djembe drumming group Ancient Lyrics during his teens and performed at numerous community and cultural events.Young Subz grew up in these rehearsals, gigs and tours and absorbed the vibrations from an early age. He is also a true son of the original 'Laylow Ladbroke Grove' Hip Hop community as Asheber was also a member of NSO Force and worked with most of the local artists (Mighty Ethnicz, Cash Crew, etc) during the late 80's to 90's. Subz carries on the tradition on the new NSO Force track London - City Of Broken Dreams, fourth track on the profile.
