Our original Austin location on Burnet Road, shadowed by the "Skullopus" sign,
was founded in 1992 by experienced artists (and brothers) Larry and Bruce Edwards.
With over 25 years experience in the tattoo industry, Larry's work has been a
cover feature in national tattoo magazines and has been highlighted in a line of
stationary note cards. This location started as a single room tattoo studio and
over the years has expanded to house seven tattoo artists and three body
piercers.
The second Austin location on MLK was established in September of 2006. This location is right around the corner from our former shop on Guadaulupe which closed in May of 2007. You can find our MLK location half a block East of Guadalupe next to Tekgnar skate shop and across from Player's restaurant. The
MLK location is staffed by three tattoo artists and
one body piercer.
Last, but certainly not least, is the newest location in Pflugerville. Located on the northern access road of I-35 between Posado's and Tinseltown theatre, this addition to the atomic household was given a more "family friendly" environment for our clients....something seldom found at any other tattoo or body piercing shop in town (or anywhere for that matter.)
All artists at Atomic
are experienced and independent professionals with a varied portfolio of styles
and types of tattooing. While Atomic probably has
the most extensive collection of flash designs in Austin, if you're looking
for something unique our artists can provide you with a custom piece
