To really understand me you have to know how much I love John Donneâ€™s A Valediction Forbidding Mourning. And I suppose if you inquired further, I could tell you that I have a strange attraction to broken and crooked things. The rest is quite complicated. My first sentence was â€œPooh bear stuck in rabbit hole. Two weeks!!â€ I am mostly known for my social awkwardness, enhanced emotions, sensitivity, and old fashioned romantic ideals. Iâ€™ve been recently interested in the way things work, ranging from computers to the universe, and have been fortunate enough to have been instructed in the basic sciences at Columbia. I thrive on new experiences. I have a teenaged cat named Hoshiko who bites, snores, and is reputed to have a rather large belly, but whom I love with all my heart. I speak French and use it to communicate en secret with my best friend Dominique. I love the feeling of someone running their fingers through my hair or playing with my feet. I am comfeterable with my body. Coffee is good. I love to cook. I have two tattoos. The grossest thing I ever did was navigate through the sewage drainpipes of my old hometown, from which I created a detailed map which included the best places to catch frogs. Family means the world to me. I usually say what I feel, which often brings me grief but I wouldnâ€™t have it any other way. I live in Spanish Harlem for now, hopefully San Francisco a bit later, and eventually Kauai or Europe. My favorite beach in the whole world is Moloa, a sacred place where my mother and I would collect shells when I was a babe and today where I dive on the reefs. I enjoy unique experiencesâ€¦ you know, the ones that you keep in a special place and when they resurge every once in a while you can't help but smile. Connecting with people, whether thay be near or far in proximity makes life worth living in my opinion. I donâ€™t rely on my looks. Traveling will always be a top priority.
