IWA, indigenous warrior arts, was created to share the history, culture, healing arts and combative arts of the indigenous warrior traditions. IWA preserves knowledge of these dying arts as much as possible and progress these arts thru peaceful intergration, to find a deeper understanding of ourselves as individuals, but also in understanding the peoples of different ethnicity, customs and cultures. As Bruce Lee profetically stated" Under the heavens we are all one family". I.W.A. believes sharing information and knowledge is preserving for future generations and can have a profound impact on ones perspective . As the late Ed Parker once said " The mind is like a parachute, if you jump out of a plane and it does'nt open it's pretty much useless."
