Alberto

Born under the Sagitarious moon, Alberto was just a kid in the city of Merliot, El Salvador, when he was forced to dodge civil bullets and put on a raft that landed on the pacific shores of California. At the age of 8 he found his greatest discovery ever, a mini Casio Lc that belonged to his uncle, a rare mystical gypsy. From it,Alberto began teaching himself how to travel through sound in manipulative ways. Because of his insufficient funds Beto could not afford piano lessons, so he picked up a beat-up cornet that rusted behind the alley. By 7 seventh grade he began to perform on the streets of OC with the Muscatel marching band, only to become unfaithful to it with an electric guitar. After 3 years he left the trumpet and the guitar to began playing his keyboard with local High School bands. Sputnik being his first boy band, provided little challenge to his complex mind, he then left and formed a duo with his soul brother, Farid. Oripmav as they were called, meaning VAMPIRO (vampire) backwards, played Plain chant, medieval and renaissance music, with down beat rhythms. The duo broke up after their last performance in the small carnival tent of Rosemead where they sold out 800 tickets. Soon after, Beto began to write Romantics in both literature and melodies. Realizing that he had made a mistake, he went back to the trumpet where he performed with the Lancer marching band. After playing at the Rose parade of 2001 Alberto gave up marching bands for good and directed himself to his Mestizo roots, Latin Jazz. Alberto played at two art festivals and ultimately recorded his first album with Bobby Rodriguez, a true cornet player who had played around with top salseros like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, and Fernando Agozi. From their, Alberto began to play his trumpet in Hungarian/mediterranean styles with his two year Fussion/ska/cumbia/jazz/folk band La Flota formerly known as esperma revelde. By 2003 Alberto directed and produced his first musical film the suicide note along side with his Italian batalion, Lucia Battaglia. He then quit the music business for 3 years as he devoted himself to the major of Biochemistry. Then outta his love to perform, Alberto joined INDEVIANT a vulture of a psychedelic band, there Beto met Erving a magician (if not a sourcerer) who then later formed Albertos dream theater; ANEXZIA. INDEVIANT broke up, not without having victorious preformances at BBKINGS, HOUSE OF BLUES (aneheim), MARO KING'S, and THE HALL, soon after the departure of Erik Rodrodriguez who went on to form APOLLO'S ARSCENAL with Erving Carmona. Soon enough Alberto was back on the spotlight playing magnificant songs with an extremely talented soloist, Emily Blong. "BETO AND MYVELCROE" performed triumphantly at THE WOODS formerly known as THE LAVA LOUNGE in Sunset, Hollywood. Months later Alberto and Emily split in good terms in persuit of distinguished ideas. Alberto, having experienced valuable knowledge from his fellow band members began to navigate his dream. Not depending so much on being an ornament but taking full control of his talents, He began to produce and record his own ideas, that of what he had learned from Emily. Now, ANEXZIA is underconstruction and stronger than before in producing and composing Music styles intricate and diverse, breaking boundries and increasing the entropy of sound. ............................................................ ..........Alberto believes that an artist should perceive his/her world through the philosophical eye of an open mind and apply their passion onto other subjects, visualizing life through art. He Loves exotic cultures, ancestral anazasi/puebloans in the southwest, middle eastern psychedels, taking care of his PhD degree; currently a Biochem undergrad at CSULA working in an organic synthetic laboratory researching siderophores... Besides chemistry he's also passionate about art; composing and producing music, writing literature in gypsy/poetic styles, directing and performing in visual arts such as film and photography................... ; - ) Welcome to MY space!!..
