Obviously I like listening to music, I have a lot to say about it. I like playing pool, and poker with my friends. If you want to challenge me to a game of either... I hope you bring a lot of excess money you don't mind losing.
Your mom ;-)
Music is a touchy subject with me... It can't be country or rap; although I will admit there are some rare rule breakers (The Eagles, Outkast). Besides rap and country, I can stand almost anything. I find myself in a quandry: Most of the music today is complete shit. I can't even feel the sincerity in most of the "music" out there today. Most of it is whinney new artists singing about heartbreak and the average run-of-the-mill situations. I just find myself questioning the feelings in these songs. Many seem like they are just thrown together, and the sad part is that many people just lap it up. This is perhaps why the majority of the music I find myself listening to is from days past. I listen to a wide variety of classics that mostly show the raw emotion and excelent songwriting. When I'm feeling down, the lyrical genious of Simon & Garfunkel consoles me. Although I love many classics, the best music comes from artists like Pink Floyd, Queen, ELO, The Beatles, David Bowie, Elton John, Jim Croce, The Police, The Rolling Stones, and ofcourse The Who. These artists are in no way listed in order of favoritism. Listen to any one of these artists and then maybe a shitty song by some snot nosed band and you will find the quality is not comparible. Of course, this is only my preference and maybe not yours but the bottom line is that.... um.... I'M RIGHT BITCHES.
I like many movies, Shawshank Redemption although overplayed is still my favorite. I like action and comedy movies mostly. Another favorite is Office Space. All poor Milton wanted was his damn stapler. IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?
The Simpsons are my original favorite, but Family Guy is so hillarious. what else... Viva la Bam, Stella, and basically anything funny. But seriously... Andy Melonakishooooooosafitttzzzzz needs a life. 29? WTF is that?
HA HA HA, oh man, BOOKS. LOL. What can I say here. I barely read, and I don't really enjoy reading. I honestly have nothing against it. The problem with reading and me is that I'm such a lazy SOB that I just never feel like it. Mr. Haring told our class not to join his AP English class unless we, "Love reading." What a jokester. It has been awhile since I have read a book by choice. I was forced to "read" many books in high school, but I never really read them at all. I was always so optomistic. On the night before the test, I usually ended up running to sparknotes. I did very much enjoy this one book I read once, but now that I think back I read it for a book report. As the deadline slowly creeped up, I decided to rent the book on tape. It went great, and I really liked the book. If only there was someone to read every book to me.
I dunno... Freddie Mercury I suppose
