Formed in Orlando, Florida during the summer of 2007, Abdomen Canvas is composed of former members of local Florida metal acts, Phineas Gage and Limb From Limb. The band has emerged as one of the premiere purveyors of brutality throughout the sunshine state and beyond. This ensemble has crafted a unique sound that blends an eclectic mix of metal ranging in styles from melodic death metal, to the brutality of grindcore. If you are a fan of the metal genre, Abdomen Canvas has something for you. With the independent release of their 2008 self-titled E.P. featuring relentless tracks such as “A.C. Flesh Party†and “Into the Darkâ€, Abdomen Canvas plans to circulate and expand throughout the Southeast and soon throughout the United States.
