Flashback World Productions was one of the many bootleg labels during the bootleg CD bang(1992-1997). The label put out many discs by artists such as Grateful Dead, Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd and countless others. The principal(s) from this label were unfortunately arrested in Florida sometime during March 1997 when a US wholesaler of bootlegs was questioned in part of an investigation of putting a stop to these bootlegs coming out. A sting operation was setup while the wholesaler created a diversion that grouped all of the labels principals together and bust them.
