That Which Passes was started in the spring of 2007 as a way for us to write music collaboratively, once again. Having played in various bands and recording projects together during the past decade, we decided this was a worthy culmination of our efforts and creativity. The idea is this: to write songs that stand on their own in a folk/acoustic guitar fashion and translate them into the doom metal style. Perhaps we succeeded. Perhaps we failed. Either way, we are here now and we are happy with the results.
However, after writing four songs without a bassist, recording a quick demo seemed like the next logical step toward finding one. Thus, our demo.
