Traveling, books, music, sports, great food, good movies and TV...I am pulling back on the hatred for reality shows...I'm all over Rockstar Supernova...Dave Navarro...you're hot and so sweet!!!! The Anteaters, of course...Love college football, college basketball and college baseball...pro sports can kiss my butt (except the Dodgers!!! love the addition of Greg Maddux!...spoiled jerks bitching about not being able to feed their families on a 14 mil contract makes me want to toss the cookies...and now that Shaq and Kobe have kissed and made up, we can get on with our lives...JHC!I do LOVE Brett Favre...what a freakin' stud...will always watch Ben Rothlisberger and Peyton Manning when they play...and Michael Vick's a stud when he's not hurt...and Dante Hall can FLY!!!...love the Barber twins too...very nice boys...like watching Real Madrid (even though RM is futbol's version of the Yankees...they can PLAY!) George & Chris, I'm still peeved that I was not included in the field trip to watch Real play at Home Depot...Lawrence, I'm throwing you into that group by association...;)Did the Crossing in New Zealand last December...did it in shorts and my UC Irvine Track & Field shirt...froze my butt off at the top and the right knee killed me...but had a fantastic time with my friend Liz...met some sheriff from Santa Clarita of all places while climbing up rocks...for all you people who were with me when we did Mt Fuji...The Crossing wasn't nearly as bad! So go to NZ! Fantastic place, fantastic food...miss you Liz!
Raoul Bova...does he count? And Jean-Marc Barr...just want him to speak French to me...purrrrr....and anyone who likes to have fun and is not looking for a hookup...no games...I'm more likely to quit and move on than engage.
Am a fan of classic rock...not too interested in hardcore gangsta rap. Don't listen to too much country either. I also like Latin pop...Mana, Carlos Ponce, Estopa, etc. Almost anything is fine.
Tend toward indie films...loved In America...so sad, so beautiful...loved House of Flying Daggers...Kaneshiro Takeshi...yum...Whale Rider is still one of my faves...LOVED Kill Bill, both volumes...hated Monster...Ruthie I can't believe you bought that movie for me...needless to say, that one got traded in to BB very quickly...Shawshank's still very high up on the list as well...there are a ton of more movies out there that I like...hmm....while we are on the subject of liking movies...what is up with boys' loving Anchorman...it's funny but it's not THAT funny...I LOVE scary movies but my scary movie buddy doesn't want to go with me anymore because I wreck it for him by whispering during the movie...I'll have to work on that and get back into his good graces....sorry Drew....enjoy anything with John Malkovich...great actor! And I LOVE Jean Reno...I'll watch anything with him...he's fantastic!
I am a big CSI fan...Las Vegas is the best but Miami and NY are a close second...Stella's boyfriend on NY is gorgeous! Who the heck is that guy? Love Law & Order SVU...Chris Melloni & Mariska Hargitay are great...I am bummed that Alias hasn't been on the air in months...liked the first two seasons of 24 but then I got behind and never picked it up again....and most Crime Dramas...I like Animal Planet but not the episodes where they have to rescue the animals...I always get teary because the animals are neglected and have one paw/hoof/wing/flipper in the grave. And of course ESPN...Fox Sports is okay they shove USC/UCLA coverage down your throat...jeez, there have got to be other colleges in the Southern Cal area...ahem.
Am a fan of Tom Clancy, Iris Johannsen...John Katzenbach is a great read...add Greg Iles to the list...fantastic! Thanks Miki for the promo... The Master and Margarita is still one of my favorites, it's a Russian novel by Mikhail Bulgokov...political satire in the form of black magic...it's good but you have to stick with it....Michael Connelly, Pat Cornwell...although I couldn't read the last Scarpetta one...love psychological thrillers....Alex Kava is a good read as well...mystery/suspense...so many books, so little time...I am going through Les Mis for the third time but then a new book distracts me.
