Sounds Like: Daphne began singing professionally by the age of 12. Writing, singing and creating music in NYC, Australia, Japan and the Carribean she has proven herself to be an experienced, dedicated and diverse artist. She has written for herself and many of her peers and fellow musicians.In 2001 she was awarded the title of "Best Female Vocalist" and writer of "Best alternative song, Night Light Mama" in Studio 52's Kool Skoolz competition beating vocalists such as Missy Higgins herself.Daphne's main focus has always been RnB however, as a writer she ventures into all genres. Spending 3 years as the lead singer of Melbourne heavy metal band Swetang she combined the strength of her booming vocals with hard, and edgy electric guitars to create metal with a voice.Today Daphne is recording her album and working with various producers around the globe. She is taking her experience and creating new music which cannot be mistaken for anything other than Daphne.Keep an eye out for this talented young lady she's only just getting warmed up!!
