Hello, My name is BJ Brown. I am a songwriter/performer from Piqua Ohio. I have been performing for 25 years and writing for the past 10. I am currently working on getting some of my music published, I am trying to network with others to build up my contacts. I was with an Indie label in Nashville for about 4 years along side Highway 101, Lee Greenwood, BJ Thomas and others. My producer was Larry Butler, who was Kenny Rogers producer for many years. All my demos are currently recorded and produced by myself at home, due to the shortage of studios in Piqua. I also enjoy the challenge of trying to get a decent mix!!!! I play a telecaster that I put together with various tele parts, it has a Cola red American tele body with a 50's neck and the pickups are neck=Lindy Fralin standard and bridge=Lindy Fralin Hyrid blues special. I installed a Glendale bridge with Glendale Aluminum/Brass saddles. I am currently playing guitar with a group in Dayton, Ohio called "Shadowfacts", they are a great group to work with and very talented musicians and performers. I am actively sending out demo cd's to publishers and other key contacts I have made over the last few years. There are a few songs that were written for a female vocalist that are online. These were performed by a young lady by the name of Amy Speigle from Dayton,Ohio. She does a fine job and I plan on using her for alot of my demo's.
