Glen Urquhart Public Hall

About Me

Since 1906 - over a century ago - Glen Urquhart Public Hall has been at the heart of the community of Drumnadrochit and Lewiston, on the shores of Loch Ness, only 13 miles from Inverness, housing regular sessions of Indoor Bowling and Badminton, Art classes, Dance classes, coffee mornings, meetings, table top sales and craft fairs.
Set amongst woodlands yet central to the village the main hall has a vaulted pine ceiling which makes for bright acoustics. With a warm, friendly atmosphere the Hall is a great venue for concerts, ceilidhs, weddings, parties, dances and celebrations of all kinds (licensed for a maximum of 250 people). As well as the main hall there is a kitchen with a serving hatch to the annexe (which can be divided into two smaller rooms). There is disabled access, a unisex disabled toilet, and a Hearing Loop. Unrestricted parking on the road outside. More photos and information on our website, http://www.glenurquhart.info
