I am here for Friends

About Me

I teach math and ride bikes. Right now both of those things are happening in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I like rats more than dogs, cider more than beer (and wheat beer more than cider). I've been riding bikes for a bunch of years and I before I switched to this hemisphere I was an organizer and mechanic for the Sopo Bicycle Cooperative in Atlanta, GA (I guess I still am, I just haven't stopped by the shop in a few months). My friends call me Lamb Sandwich because I don't eat meat. And I think Elephants are the coolest things on the planet. The whole planet.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

persons of cookie.

A Birthday and Minefields

It took 9 years, a college education and a $1000 one way ticket across the world to get me a birthday with my family.  And it was even a suprise party with my first home cooked meal in two months...

School: Week 1

It started out horribly.  The first few days are always difficult, but for new teachers it is daunting.  I tried to plan enough for the kids to do, but that was difficult seeing as I didn't ...
