From Senegal to Philadelphia (USA), Germany and Sweden, Matt Moerdock has been a significant presence in advocating a new style of rap (Rap Motown, as he calls it).
His journey has taken him to the next level, as he prepares to release his highly anticipated album “Bienvenue à Hell’s Kitchen†later this year.In 2005, his first album “D’Art de Ville†was a refreshing change for the Hip Hop scene. His hit track (released independently) “Sortez des Rangs†stayed in the MTV European top 20 for 9 consecutive weeks.He was featured on ‘Plus Vite que la musique’, a special on Eminem, which included Matt Moerdock’s sudden rise in France.His collaborations, from freestyles to touring have included artists such as Wu Tang Clan, Lil Scrappy, Sadat X, Black Moon, and G unit.In late 2008, Matt Moerdock collaborated with upcoming soul singer Tony Williams of G.O.O.D music on “dreaming of your love†remix, produced by Kanye West. Tony’s album, ‘King or The Fool’ comes out later this year. He recently performed for Barack Obama with Jay Z at the Inaugural ball.
